* Do you have excellent customer service and accounting skills? Apply to be an ASUO Student Controller.
* Applications due 5:00pm Fri/11/13/2009
* Position descriptions and applications are available in the ASUO and on the ASUO Website.
* Applicants must meet all student eligibility requirements.
* Applicants must be willing to work eight to twenty hours per week including some evenings and/or weekends.
* Controller Positions paid by the hour.
* Payroll is processed monthly.
* (AA/EOE/ADA)
* ASUO Controllers assist with and maintain accounting systems for all ASUO programs.
* ASUO Controllers validate and approve all ASUO Program purchases.
* ASUO Controllers approve and monitor stipends and payroll for all ASUO programs.

2. Are you considering law school as part of your future? If so, the following session would be great for you to attend:
The Office of Academic Advising is sponsoring an Applying to Law School workshop on Wednesday, October 28 at 3:00 in the Bean East Conference Room.
The pre-law advisors from Academic Advising will provide an overview of legal education and discuss topics including undergraduate academic preparation, the application process, the LSAT, personal statements, and letters of recommendation. We will be joined by a special guest, Jessica Merkner, assistant director of admissions at the University of Oregon School of Law. An opportunity for questions and answers will be provided. All students are welcome.

3. Anyone driving ANY state-owned van on university business is required to have van training certification. The university van training course is approximately a 2 hour class comprised of a classroom and practicum portion. Contact the ASUO Office Assistants to sign-up for van training and request a driver certification card (see Driver Certification Card).
